Electrolytic Nickel S-Round

Trusted by the world’s leading electroplaters, sulfur activated Electrolytic Nickel S-Rounds are safe to handle, in high purity form, and produced by the process of electrolytic refining at Vale’s Thompson Nickel Refinery in Manitoba, Canada.

Suited to perfection, the S-Rounds aid in premium electroplating and are wittingly designed for plating with titanium anode baskets, even in baths without chlorides.

The sulfur in Electrolytic Nickel S-Rounds does not enter the plating solution. Furthermore the formation of insoluble nickel sulfide residue is fully contained by the cloth anode bags which remove the unneeded copper impurities. The unique button-shaped pieces of nickel ensure good mixing and solution flow, and prevent bridges and voids from forming in the basket.

CONSISTENCY

Sulfur activation encourages consistent dissolution and low operating voltage even in plating baths without chloride.

PURITY

Least possible metallic residues upon dissolution.

QUALITY

Electrolytic nickel S-rounds settle uniformly in basket and deliver high quality deposits.

EFFICIENCY

Usual nickel plating solutions (with or without chlorides) dissolve at full anode efficiency.

STANDARDIZED

S-Rounds are produced in accordance with ISO 9001:2008 standards.

FORM

S-Rounds are 25mm (approx) in diameter and 6.5mm (approx) thick.
